    I wonder why the center did not send us the information about Thay’s schedule of retreat of this year.

      Dear Le Hoang,
      For the Vietnamese retreat, you would arrive on SEPTEMBER 16 (registration is usually after lunch) and you would depart on SEPTEMBER 20 (usually after lunch).

        You mentioned that the departure on September 20 is usually after lunch but the flyer mentioned it ends at 3 pm so is that the correct time?

          Lunch usually ends around 1:30pm, but the 3pm time is probably just a little wiggle room.

            The request is people arrive after lunch, but sometimes this is unavoidable. If you’ve never been on retreat or to our monastery, then I suggest you eat food in town and then come up in the afternoon when registration opens.

    We would like attend the retreat from Sept 16 but cannot stay for the whole retreat, would that be possible? We do not need lodging, would come in the morning and leave for the evening, what would be the fee for that? Also, do you have a detailed full schedule for the period of Sept 16 through Sept 20?

      Hi Vincent. You may contact the registration office to see how it is going, but priority is being given to those of Vietnamese decent first.

    I will be flying from Oregon and arriving at San Diego Airport on September 16 at 9:30 am.  I’m planning to take the EZ Ride shuttle from the airport so does anyone want to share the bus ride and cost together?
